Allison Holker is focusing on her family after releasing her book about late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss.
Holker, 37, uploaded a compilation of photos with her kids on Sunday, February 9, writing via Instagram, “Life with my Angels 🥰.” The social media upload included various snaps of Holker and her kids — Weslie, 16, Maddox, 8, and Zaia, 5 — spending time together.
Holker shared her two younger children with Boss, whom she married in 2013, and welcomed her eldest daughter with a former partner. Last month, Holker sparked backlash for sharing intimate details of Boss’ struggles leading up to his death by suicide in 2022. Before her book, This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light, hit shelves, Holker detailed Boss’ battle with substance abuse and alleged childhood sexual trauma.
“My hope is that that we won’t need to lose another husband, brother, father, or friend to suicide,” she wrote via Instagram Story last month, defending her choice to share the details publicly. “I believe that if Stephen were able to choose, he would choose to have his story told if it meant saving even one life. Much love to all those who have supported our family these many years.”
Boss’ mother, Connie Boss Alexander, previously addressed Holker’s “untruths” in an emotional Instagram statement shared in January. Following the release of Holker’s book, Boss’ mom and younger brother, Drè Rose, sat down for an interview with Gayle King set to air on CBS Mornings Tuesday, February 11.
“I think people deserve the ability to share their story. I get that. But how it was presented and how it was on a cover of a magazine and there was a public, you know, launch or campaign about it, we shouldn’t have to find out about that in the media. We’re a family,” Rose stated in a clip.

Holker referenced Boss’ personal journal entries throughout her book, and Rose said he “would love to see all of the journals in all of [their] entirety,” adding, “I think those journals will tell you a lot. I think there’s things in those journals that are good and bad, but I also [think] there’s journals about his personal life, his marital life, that are in there. I feel, believe, that there’s been a cherry-picking of things from the journals to reveal or share. And if we’re just gonna be completely honest, talk about it all.”
Boss Alexander agreed, noting that she would hope to “maybe get a clearer understanding” of what Boss was struggling with by reading his own words. “You know, he’s my son. [They show] who he was and what he was thinking from time to time,” she said.
