Anthony Edwards’ girlfriend, Shannon Jackson, has left social media amid her boyfriend’s paternity case with Ayesha Howard.
Jackson’s Instagram page — which was under the handle @coutureinc2 — is no longer available as of Wednesday, April 16.
The last time Jackson posted on the account was earlier this month while on a tropical getaway to Turks and Caicos, per Sports Illustrated. The influencer shared snaps of her and Edwards’ 13-month-old daughter, Aislynn.
Edwards, 23, and Jackson have been dating since 2020. In March 2024, news broke that the Minnesota Timberwolves player and Jackson welcomed Aislynn after he left the team’s game against the Sacramento Kings at halftime to be with the mother of his child. (In addition to Aislynn, Jackson is the mother of son Krue, whom she welcomed with rapper Chief Keef.)
Six months later, Edwards filed a petition for paternity and child support before Howard, 38, welcomed daughter Aubri Summers in October 2024. According to In Touch, Edwards’ lawyers asked for genetic testing to be conducted.
Jackson addressed her boyfriend’s paternity situation during an October 2024 Instagram Live and called herself one of “God’s strongest soldiers.”
“Put me on the front line. If I gotta un–baby daddy him then I gotta un–baby daddy the first one. Damn!” she said. “Can I say this? Y’all just finding out. For the comment that said I was hurting on the inside, pick a side, you definitely look early 30s. Listen, y’all be trying to make a motherf***er feel bad about if they old or not, but a lot of y’all ain’t even guaranteed till 30. Gotta make sure my man doesn’t pull up before y’all. He see me on Live because he’s gonna be like [criticizing me], ‘Why you on Live telling them people your business?’ This fake outrage you are having, pull your panties out of your bunch.”
After Howard gave birth, Edwards filed a new motion. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the basketball player asked for DNA testing by a “neutral and licensed laboratory” to determine whether he is the father. In December 2024, Edwards underwent the test.
News broke in March 2025 that Edwards is the father. Howard subsequently requested sole legal and physical custody, care and control of Aubri in a legal filing per docs obtained by Us. She also asked that Edwards reimburse her for any “actual costs incurred for her pregnancy, birth and expenses incurred after the child’s birth” and child support payments to cover Aubri’s education, upbringing and maintenance.
Since establishing paternity, Edwards and Howard’s legal battle has continued as they’ve fought over child support. A judge ruled support would be established in Georgia, where Howard used to reside.
Howard argued that she moved to California before welcoming her daughter and had no intention of moving back to Georgia. Edwards responded by questioning whether Howard ever moved to California in the first place and alleged she was looking for a higher child support payment amount in the state.
The following month, Edwards agreed to give Howard temporary sole and legal custody of their daughter. However, the athlete asked for a Georgia court hearing to “establish [his] child support obligations,” per docs obtained by Us.
