Blake Lively has stepped out in the spotlight only a handful of times since she began her legal drama with her It Ends With Us director and costar, Justin Baldoni.
In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment, creating a “hostile work environment, causing her “severe emotional distress” while working together and orchestrating an alleged smear campaign against her.
Baldoni has vehemently denied the allegations and later countersued Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist, Leslie Sloane. Lively and Reynolds denied the accusations against them and have filed to dismiss the suit, while Sloane has requested to be removed.
A trial is scheduled for 2026.
Since Lively and Baldoni’s legal drama made headlines, the actress has remained low-key. However, she has attended multiple events, including her press tour for Another Simple Favor.

‘SNL 50: The Anniversary Special’
Lively and Reynolds made their first public appearance together at the milestone episode for Saturday Night Live in February 2025. The couple walked the red carpet together before going inside for the show. During the show, Reynolds seemingly referenced the pair’s drama with Baldoni during a live onscreen moment with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, who asked how he was doing.
“[I’m doing] great. Why, what have you heard?” the Deadpool actor quipped.
Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman slammed the bit during a February 2025 appearance on the “Hot Mics With Billy Bush” podcast.
“I’m unaware of anybody, frankly, whose wife has been sexually harassed and has made jokes about that type of situation. I can’t think of anyone who’s done anything like that,” Freedman said. “So it surprised me.”
SXSW Festival
Lively kicked off her Another Simple Favor press tour with the film’s premiere at SXSW in March. While walking the red carpet, Lively addressed the audience at the screening and recalled how nervous she was filming A Simple Favor back in 2018
“But it worked out, so I was like, ‘OK, no nerves. I know what I’m doing this time,’” she told the crowd. “Right before we started shooting he said, ‘I have, like, a little bit of a curveball idea.’ Which, I’m not going to say what it was, because, you know, we don’t want to give away anything. But it definitely, you know, upped the ante. It was very uncomfortable to watch in this theater with you all. … But yeah, it was fun, it’s always fun. Getting to work with Anna [Kendrick] again, obviously, and this incredible group of people, is amazing.”

Time 100 Gala
Weeks after attending the Another Simple Favor premiere in London, Lively was honored at the Time 100 Gala as one of the outlet’s most influential people. During her speech, Lively stated that she had “so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum.”
Instead, she paid tribute to her mother, Elaine, who was in attendance at the event as well. Lively opened up about how her mom was a survivor “of the worst crime someone can commit against a woman.”
“I’ve watched her conceal her raw and undeserved shame my entire life, so as her daughter, being asked to share this today, is monumental. If we name it, we change it,” she said, per footage shared via social media.
Wrexham AFC vs. Charlton Athletic FC Match
Days after the Time 100 Gala, Lively and Reynolds stepped out for the Wrexham AFC match at Racecourse Ground in Wales, U.K against Charlton Athletic FC. As the couple cheered on the team owned by Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, Reynolds sweetly embraced and kissed Lively on her forehead.
After the match, Lively gushed about how proud she was of the Wrexham club and her husband.
“Back to back to back. History was made,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories at the time. “Congratulations to @wrexham_afc I will never forget the love and elation in that town today. Thank you for sharing it with us always. And to these two men, @robmcelhenney & @vancityreynolds …the love and respect that pours out of you each and together exponentially grows and creates more joy, more possibilities, more magic, more history.”
‘Another Simple Favor’ NYC Premiere
Lively’s Another Simple Favor press tour continued, as the couple attended the New York City premiere of the film. While on the red carpet, Reynolds proudly snapped photos of Lively as she posed for the cameras. In addition to being joined by Reynolds, several of Lively’s family members — including her mom, sisters Lori and Robyn, brother-in-law Bart Johnson and niece Kate — were in attendance.
During the screening, Lively’s costar Andrew Rannells dodged a question about her ongoing legal battle with Baldoni. When Rannells was asked whether there were “some distractions” that affected the cast while promoting the movie, he replied, “No,” before changing the subject.
“If you’re talking about the distractions of Allison Janney asking me to go shopping with her in the streets of Rome, I enjoyed it,” he quipped, per the Associated Press. “I enjoyed the shopping. I liked watching her shop. I would do it again, in any major city, Allison. Or even a small city.”
