Cardi B wants to make one thing clear — she’s not strapped for cash!

After some followers accused the rapper, 32, of taking brand deals to pay the bills, Cardi B was determined to set the record straight in a voice recording posted via X on Tuesday, December 3.

“People say that I’m surviving off Shein deals and brand deals — wait, hold on,” she said in the  voice recording. “I want to let y’all know I could wake up tomorrow and sign a contract and I’d have half of $65 million — or half of $70 million — in my bank.”

The “WAP” artist added that she regularly shells out big bucks to support her lavish lifestyle.

“I spent, like, about $3 million in a month,” Cardi B added.

The rapper claimed that 2024 is her “off year” when it comes to music deals, adding that she is purposely holding off signing a tour deal until her next album release in order to secure a larger payout.

“You can’t act like you’re hungry, especially when you’re not,” Cardi B explained.

She suggested she could make $1 million per show or $65 million in total when she finally did choose to put pen to paper on a deal with “half the money upfront upon signing the contract.”

“I just be feeling like I don’t be liking anything. I feel like I got so many songs. I just don’t like nothing. Like, nothing is good enough. I got so much f–king money saved up, I be like, ‘Yeah, whatever the f—,’” she said via an Instagram Live in December 2022. “Making music to me has become like a job that gives me anxiety because everybody just critiques everything that I do.”
