Chrishell Stause is sharing her candid thoughts about her ex Jason Oppenheim’s new girlfriend, Jessica Vargas.
“Oh, I’ve met her,” Chrishell, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, April 25, while attending the opening weekend of the Tryst Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. “She’s really sweet. She’s lovely.”
When asked if she would share with Us her reaction to learning that her ex was dating another real estate agent, Chrishell simply said: “Oh, they’re not going to want me to answer all these.”
Chrishell and Jason were initially just friends and coworkers when the soap opera actress joined The Oppenheim Group in 2018. They later went public with their romance in July 2021. At the time, Jason exclusively told Us that their friendship served as a great foundation for their romantic relationship.

“We had been so open about what we were looking for with each other because we had become close friends,” the real estate mogul explained to Us. “She knew my dating life, and we would almost joke about each other’s dating lives and what we were looking for and things like that.
By December of that same year, the duo called it quits — in part because they disagreed on whether to have children in the future.

Jason moved on with model Marie-Lou Nurk in July 2022, when the pair were spotted kissing in Mykonos, Greece. They confirmed their split in May 2023 after less than one year of dating.
“While we still love and care about each other very much, the distance between us has proven to be too great a challenge to overcome,” the former couple wrote in a joint statement shared via their Instagram pages at the time. “We remain close friends and continue to talk often and support each other and we want the very best for one another. We thank everyone for their support throughout our relationship.”

Earlier this month, the Selling Sunset star and Vargas made their red carpet debut when they attended the Los Angeles premiere of The Accountant 2. According to her real estate profile, Vargas is a realtor at The Oppenheim Group and “represents clients from the Valley, West Hollywood, to Malibu, Beverly Hills and beyond.”
Chrishell, meanwhile, moved on with Australian music artist G Flip — the pair tied the knot in May 2023 and are currently trying to conceive.
“I’m literally still bleeding from a shot I had to just give myself,” the reality star told Us on Friday. “So yes, we are actively trying.”
She continued of her relationship with G Flip: “I think what makes it special is that we just really meet each other where we are, and it’s a really beautiful thing. We celebrate every part of each other, whether it’s the parts a lot of people like or the weird, funny, silly, unique parts — us being nerds to each other.”
