Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert saved one of his best catches of the season for the 2025 Super Bowl parade.
Goedert, 30, used some quick hands to prevent his girlfriend, Aria Meyer, from being clocked in the face by a hoagie during the Friday, February 14 celebration in downtown Philadelphia.
The catch was captured on video, which came right after Goedert caught a Miller Lite tossed from a fan on the parade route. Goedert kissed Meyer, who he has been dating since 2020, before the sandwich was also thrown atop the bus.
“Only in Philly would you see the crowd toss a frickin’ hoagie to a player in a Super Bowl parade,” the fan who shared the video wrote via X.
One fan commented on the video, “They been throwing hoagies, beer and pretzels all morning lol.” Another joked, “Eagles Parade? BOARD UP THE WINDOWS! HIDE THE ELECTRONICS!”
The parade — which boasted a crowd of more than 1 million people, by early estimates — featured appearances from Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, running back Saquon Barkley, head coach Nick Sirianni and even a cameo from retired Eagles legend Jason Kelce.

The Eagles faithful began lining the Broad Street parade route before 7 a.m. ET on Friday. The parade officially began at 11 a.m., but some fans got an early start by roasting up a pig dressed up as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Philadelphia crushed Kansas City 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9, ending the Chiefs’ quest to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Meyer, who is also from Goedert’s home state of South Dakota, was in New Orleans to celebrate with her boyfriend, who was drafted by the Eagles in 2018.
“I know I said this before but.. IS THIS REAL LIFE ,” Meyer shared via Instagram on Tuesday, February 11, alongside a carousel of photos from the Super Bowl championship aftermath. “God is so good. This is for all the days that weren’t so easy. It’s so magical to watch the person you love achieve his dream. Congratulations @sgoboy_88
love you most.”

Meyer posted Eagles’ game day content throughout the 2024-2025 season, including a celebratory video after Philadelphia defeated the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.
The video showed Goedert giving Meyer a pre-game hug, Meyer screaming with other Eagles WAGs and a hilarious clip of Goedert’s mom, Mary, lifting up Eagles tight ends coach Jason Michael after the game at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Stadium.
