Gigi Hadid’s relationship with Bradley Cooper is stronger than ever.
“Bradley has opened me up to go to the theater more, and that’s something that’s so nice to bring back into my life,” Hadid, 29, shared in her April Vogue cover story, published on Tuesday, March 11.
Hadid has been romantically linked to the actor, 50, since October 2023. According to the outlet, the pair met at a mutual friend’s backyard birthday party for their child. Their mundane meeting is something Hadid appreciates, as she told the outlet, “You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating.”
She explained, “Even for my friends who aren’t public figures, that’s hard. Where do you go? And, what? You just start talking to people? And then there’s another added layer of privacy and security. You want to believe that people are going to have your back and not call TMZ or go on Deuxmoi or whatever, but you just don’t know.”
More than a year into their romance, Hadid described her and Cooper’s relationship as “very romantic and happy.” The two don’t often share details about their love life, Hadid said, because “it’s just not part of our relationship to share for whatever reason.”
Hadid went on to note that she’s at a point in her life “where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” adding, “And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve … and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky’s the word.”

She continued, “I respect him so much as a creative, and I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief. For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this? You jump and take the leap.”
Hadid dated several famous faces before Cooper, including Cody Simpson, Joe Jonas, Tyler Cameron and Leonardo DiCaprio. She famously dated Zayn Malik, with whom she shares her 4-year-old daughter, Khai, off-and-on from 2015 to 2021.
Cooper, for his part, has been romantically connected to celebrities such as Jennifer Esposito, Cameron Diaz, Renée Zellweger, Olivia Wilde, Jennifer Lopez, Zoe Saldaña, Suki Waterhouse and Dianna Agron over the years. He shares his 7-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine, with Irina Shayk, whom he dated from 2015 to 2019.
In Us Weekly’s December 2024 cover story, a source exclusively shared that Hadid and Cooper “are the real deal” and that their relationship “has become very serious over the last year.” A second source added, “Bradley and Gigi have very calm temperaments and are very understanding; it’s why they mesh so well,” while the first source noted, “Bradley is a very easygoing kind of guy. His demeanor is very relaxed and chill.”
The couple were spotted cheering on Cooper’s favorite NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles, as they played against the Los Angeles Rams at a January NFL game in Cooper’s native Philadelphia. The pair each sported Eagles merch while rooting for the home team in social media footage from the game.
Hadid, however, did not join her boyfriend at Super Bowl LIX the following month. Cooper instead celebrated the Eagles’ victory over the Kansas City Chiefs with his daughter by his side.
