Katy Perry has had some of the boldest Met Gala red carpet moments to date.
Perry has been a fixture on Fashion’s Biggest Night for more than a decade, rocking everything from LED-light-up gowns to larger-than-life angel wings.
One of her most talked-about looks of all time was in 2019. She wore a Jeremy Scott chandelier dress for the exhibit’s “Camp: Notes on Fashion” theme. As if the hyper-realistic light piece that surrounded her body wasn’t eye-catching enough, she added a matching headpiece with dangling crystals for extra star wattage.
Another standout moment came the year prior, when she floated up the Met steps with giant feathered wings and a beaded gold chainmail dress by Versace. Never one to make accessories an afterthought, completed her look with knee-high metallic boots plus bronze eyeshadow to match.
