Meghan Markle gushed about her life with Prince Harry and their two children during an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, spoke with Barrymore about her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and her life in California in a segment that is due to air on Thursday, March 6.
Meghan told Barrymore that her children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, have started to pick up their father’s accent.
“OK, what’s your favorite thing that you see in your kids that you go, ‘Oh, that’s their dad,’” Barrymore asked the royal.
Meghan responded: “Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent, so they’ll say z-e-b-r-a and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out and because they have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him and I think it’s adorable.”
“Zebra is a good one,” she added.
Meghan’s eldest child, Archie, was born in London in 2019 when Meghan and Harry, 40, were still working royals. The family relocated to Montecito, California, in 2020 and welcomed Lilibet in 2021.

Meghan also told Barrymore how she incorporates bedtime stories into her kids’ routines when she travels.
“I always make it a point when I’m traveling if I can’t do bedtime stories with my kids because Archie and Lily are just 3 and 5, so I’ll always pack a really thin book and I’ll videotape myself reading it so whoever’s with them or Papa can say, ‘Here’s mama reading your bedtime story,’” she said.
“You find ways to show up for each other and if that’s the one thing that I can convey through the show or through As Ever as a brand, I want people to know you can show up for each other because you know how good it feels when someone shows up for you,” Meghan added.
Meghan’s lifestyle show on Netflix, which premiered on Monday, March 4, coincided with the launch of her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Though not yet available to purchase, Meghan has listed various products on the As Ever website, including: Raspberry Spread, Limited Edition Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb, Flower Sprinkles, Herbal Hibiscus Tea, Herbal Peppermint Tea, Herbal Lemon Ginger Tea, Crepe Mix and Shortbread Cookies with Flower Sprinkles.

Barrymore, meanwhile, referred to Meghan as “Meghan Sussex” during the interview. It comes after Meghan corrected actress Mindy Kaling for referring to her by her maiden name, Markle, in an episode of With Love, Meghan.
“It’s so funny you keep saying Markle,” Meghan told Kaling. “You know it’s Sussex now. You have kids and you go, I share my name with my children. I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me, but it just means so much to go, this is our family name. Our little family now.”
Tune in to Meghan’s interview on The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday, March 6.
