Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, is engaged!
Paris, 26, confirmed on Friday, December 6, that her boyfriend, Justin “Blue” Long, proposed.
“Happy birthday, my sweet blue,” Paris wrote via Instagram. “Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with.”
She added, “Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”
Paris shared 14 photos with Long, along with one of her bandmate on bended knee and proposing with a large solitaire diamond ring. Paris dropped to her own knees to seal the deal with a sweet kiss.
Paris reposted the same photos via her Instagram Story with the caption, “Bday ❤️.”
Paris and Long have reportedly been an item since June 2022.
An accomplished musician in her own right, Paris is the only daughter of late pop icon Micheal. The King of Pop, who died in 2009 at age 50, was also the father of sons Prince, 27, and Bigi, 22.
“He would have been 65 years old today,” Paris wrote via Instagram in August 2023. “And he put 50 years of blood, sweat and tears and love and passion into doing what he did, so that I can stand up here on stage in front of you and scream into a microphone. So I owe everything to him.”
Paris, whom Michael shared with ex-wife Debbie Rowe, was only 11 years old when her father died.
“They always say, ‘Time heals.’ But it really doesn’t. You just get used to it,” Paris previously told Rolling Stone in 2017 of dealing with Michael’s death. “I live life with the mentality of ‘OK, I lost the only thing that has ever been important to me.’ So going forward, anything bad that happens can’t be nearly as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.”
She added at the time, “I feel him with me all the time.”
Before Paris found love with Long, she dated the likes of Michael Snoddy and Gabriel Glenn. Paris and Glenn, who were previously bandmates in The Soundflowers, split in August 2020 after two years together.
“A big thing for Aries is we are very impatient,” Paris said during the 2020 finale of the then-couple’s eponymous Facebook Watch series, alluding to the split. “[With] the people that we love and things that we care about, we have the patience of a saint. But it’s a very interesting dynamic. … I’ve always known I was stubborn, and I knew that he was stubborn because he’s a Taurus.”
