Zack Baun and his wife, Ali Baun, were college sweethearts before becoming one of the NFL’s sweetest couples.
The pair met while studying at The University of Wisconsin – Madison, where Zack played on the school’s football team from 2015 to 2019. Just one year later, Zack made his NFL debut as a member of the New Orleans Saints.
The couple’s relationship continued to grow during Zack’s time with the Saints, as they got engaged and tied the knot in 2020. Just one month after Zack signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, he and Ali welcomed their son, Elian, in April 2024.
Ali and Elian were by Zack’s side as he and the Eagles won the 2025 NFC Championship, securing their place in Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs. Ahead of the big game, Zack gave his wife a sweet shout-out during a February 2025 Super Bowl press conference.

Zack and Ali both sported University of Wisconsin – Madison merch in their first pic together on Zack’s Instagram. “Bye weekend was a success 🤘🏽,” he wrote alongside a photo of them posing with Halloween pumpkins they had carved together.
July 2017
“Now that my summer has come to an end I would like to personally thank this pretty little lady for the best summer of my entire life,” Zack captioned an Instagram carousel of photos from their summer adventures (in North and South Carolina as well as Wisconsin), also featuring their dog Chancelor. “We got a doge, hiked the Great Smokey Mountains, took a walk in downtown Charlotte, ate tacos in Myrtle Beach, watched a mock air attack at Fort Bragg, lived the cabin life in Minocqua and Crivitz, slept in a tiny tent in the UP, and much more. Ali took to Instagram to congratulate her then-boyfriend on being drafted by the Saints. “With every ounce of my being, I am as proud as he is deserving,” she captioned a pic of them in New Orleans. “Truly my human for life, I cannot wait to share this journey with you. Back to NOLA we go ⚜️🖤🎉.”

Zack called asking Ali to marry him “the best decision I’ve ever made” in an engagement announcement Instagram post. “Can’t wait to love you forever @aliduquaine 💕.”
Ali freaked out over their engagement in an Instagram post of her own. “My FIANCÉ 💍,” she captioned a pic of them sharing a kiss on a boat.
October 2020
“Yesterday afternoon -10/14/20- I married not only my best friend, but the love of my life,” Zack captioned Instagram snaps from their wedding day. “Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you- I love you forever 💕.”
Ali shared more wedding photos via her own Instagram page, writing, “Mr. and Mrs. Baun 🖤 That over-the-moon type feeling … well I’m drowning in it. Yesterday I married the man of my dreams, under the sun, in the city we now call home. Here’s to sharing a lifetime of love with you.”

The couple expanded their family by adopting their second pup, Chewy. “Chancelor 🤝 Chewy,” Ali wrote alongside Instagram clips of their new dog’s first days at home.

Zack and Ali announced they were expecting their first child by sharing identical Instagram posts of them posing in a photo booth with their baby’s ultrasound photos.

Zack and Ali became parents to a little boy one month after he signed with the Eagles. “Welcome home, Elian 🕊️ 4/8/24 — we are so in love,” the couple captioned sweet photos and clip of their newborn in a joint Instagram post.
January 2025
Ali and Elian cheered on Zack and the Eagles at the 2025 NFC Championship. “BIRDS TO THE BOWL,” Zack captioned Instagram pics from the game, including an adorable family photo with his wife and son.
“We’re going back to new orleans 😭!!!!!!” Ali captioned her own celebratory Instagram post, which included a snap of herself and Zack kissing on the football field.
