Southern Charm star Taylor Ann Green is debunking ex Shep Rose’s accusations that her family does not approve of her relationship with Gaston Rojas.
In a scene from the currently airing tenth season, Shep, 44, claimed in a confessional that he knows Taylor’s “mom and dad wish she was still with me.”
“And her grandfather and grandmother,” he added. “Her whole family.”
Taylor’s new boyfriend, Gaston, makes his Southern Charm debut in season 10. They have been together since 2023, nearly one year after Taylor, 30, and Shep called it quits after two years of dating.
Taylor responded to Shep’s comments via her Instagram Story on Friday, December 6.
“I’m gonna pop off here for a second, publicly. Let me shout from the mountaintops that both my parents, my grandparents, and yes, even my recently late grandfather all couldn’t be happier that I’ve moved on and am in a much better, happier and healthier relationship,” she said. “So this comment SENDS me. What planet do you live on, bro?”
Taylor added, “You cheated on me 4 times (that I know of) and you think my family wishes I was still with you???? DELUSIONAL. And thank GOD I’m everything your ‘girlfriend’ isn’t.”
Taylor further stressed that she wants “nothing to do” with Shep moving forward.
“Leave me and my relationship alone. I will not stand for this,” she concluded.
Shep has not publicly responded to Taylor’s claims. He had previously admitted to being unfaithful. In a November 2023 episode of Southern Charm, Shep said that “sometimes cheating on [Taylor] was fun” but later backtracked on his remarks. (In a 2021 episode, he also confirmed the infidelity.)

While filming season 10, Taylor made sure to keep her distance from Shep.
“There’s no need to have a relationship with my ex-boyfriend. It’s just disrespectful to myself and it’s also disrespectful to my current relationship,” Taylor exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the Thursday, December 5, season premiere. “There’s really no reason for Shep and Gaston to have any kind of interactions or relationship. I don’t really find it to be anything beneficial.”
Shep, for his part, claimed in a Southern Charm trailer that he had fallen in love with beauty queen Sienna Evans.
“I feel very far removed from that. It’s something that I just kind of look at and go, ‘I’m glad that’s not me.’ And I mean that respectfully,” Taylor told Us. “But I’m in such a happy place where I go, ‘Everything does happen for a reason.’ I’m very happy with the person that I’m with. And so seeing that I’m just going, ‘I’m just glad it’s not me.’”
